Veterans Day

In the United States, Monday November 11th is the day in which we honor our Veterans for their service to our country. Seeing as though we are an international forum, I am extending this out to include all members here, regardless of your nationality and make this "your" day too !

I would like to personally take a moment to extend my gratitude and respect to all of our forum members that have and are serving their respective countries Armed Forces...Your dedication and sacrifices are not forgotten ! Being a veteran of the USAF myself, although I only served during peace time, I know leaving family and friends behind to serve can be very difficult !

My husband was in the armed forces Royal Navy for 26 years and was medically retired from the service last july.
We watch the Service every year on Tv and respect the 2 min silence at 11am.
Its a very moving service to watch all those men and women who have served and fought for our freedom today.
I honor all service men and women of the British armed forces and our allies through out the world.
