| Tailgate party starts at noon here.
Will be grilling on the front deck!
Plenty of beer, brats and chips. 
Everyone is welcome.
I even invited a couple of Bears fans. 
(they did beat the Packers twice this year) 
Should be a great day for football as we watch
the Charges beat the Pats (hope)
and the Packers pound the Giants. (for sure)
Wife says I have to start slloooww or I
will be sleeping through the Greeen Bay game.
Yes don't forget to get your spot on the super bowl sheet.
The excitement $1.00 can add to a game is awsume.

I, too, hope that the Chargers can pull off the upset at New England today... I hate to see that Rivers is listed as doubtful for this game ! The Chargers got pretty banged up against Indy last week and I really hope that they can pull this one out ! Tomlinson is better, so let's hope for the best !
Now on to the NFC.... Not an easy choice for me here ! On one hand I've always respected and admired Favre and the Packers, and they've really had such a great season ! On the other, with Eli and the Giants you've got a group of young "average Joe's" that are coming together at the end of a tough season and making things happen ! They are lacking the star power of some of the other teams left, but just keep winning ! I guess that, and the "Manning" name help to put Giants as the team I'm really pulling for today !
Still welcome at the tailgate party ??

| Guys you ever hear of Destiny! Well that underdog team that played those Pats pretty well during the season are destined to meet them again! and a Manning will revenge the loss of his brother! A superstar will be born at the Super bowl! Watch out Brady and the Pats!

| I'm a strong believer in destiny !!
There have been many teams over the years in sports that have been just destined to win against all odds...
Biggest one in my mind has to be the 1998 Vols BCS championship season. No one believed at the beginning of the season that they team could pull together and rebuild so quickly after losing Peyton and many other seniors from the team from the prior year....But week by week, they just kept winning !! Against all odds, it was destined to be ! No really big names, just a team that wanted to win !!
Let's just hope that it's the year for the Giants to be that team !

THE PACKERS ARE OUT AND THE GIANTS ARE IN!!!
See where I grew up, which I think I brought up before, the Lions and the Packers have always been rivals since they are right by each other state wise. Alot of people in the U.P. were always Packer fans..hello, we were in Michigan, stand by your team, no matter how rotten they are!! Yes I am a devoted Lions fan, even though they suck, just being honest.
So any time the Packers played, I always rooted for the other team! Never followed the Giants, but congrats to them!!
I know it was cold there today, the U.P. itself reached 40 below..WAY TO GO GIANTS and may the Best team win coming up!! |

What a game ! I was totally impressed by the defense of the Giants today and am really hoping that they've got one more game in them ! Woo hoo !!
Definately going to be a great Super Bowl this year....Get in on the fun and get in our the Super Bowl pool !! We still have 51 squares to fill, and would love to get this filled in this week ! Only $1 per square and you can add even more reason and excitement for watching the big game.

It will be hard to cheer them on in the super bowl
after they beat the Packers, but I will.

| Tim told you not to underestimate the Giants, but now you can join the rest of us in routing for them to beat the Pats.
Congrats to you Giants fans, they have been such a different team the last 4 weeks. Well really the defense except the first 2 games has been solid all year, but Eli and the offense have been erratic, but now they have been solid too and almost mistake free.
Looks like it's going to be a good Superbowl.
And I can not believe I am routing for the Giants of all teams, but really want to see the Pats knocked off their high horse.

| I thought the Packers vs. Giants game was awesome!
I felt so happy for Eli, but hated to see Brett throw that
interception. I wanted to cry, just thinking of that being
his last play of the game, but the defense for New York
played a very solid game.
Now, I hope they bring down Tom Brady and company.

I always like cheering for NFC North teams, but just couldn't catch myself cheering for those Cheeseheads (Sorry Tim)
What an awesome game that was! A true football game in the cold!!
The ONLY reason I wanted to see GB in the game, is because 10 years ago in 1997 I proposed to my wife in Cancun during Super Bowl Sunday and the Pats and Packers were playing in that game XXXI (that's 31 for you non-romans)
