My sport is football

I play sunday league and 3 times during the week, I also Support Hull City in the English Championship.

Any other football fans here?

Lol, I'm a Football supporter. Or atleast whenever I get the chance to see a game, since I live in the states I can't really keep up as much as I'd like.

We get a few channels that show games here and there. I support Arsenal in the premiership and Barcelona in La Liga. Fell in love with Barca after I took a trip too Barcelona 2 years ago while I was a junior in high school.

Don't know why I started to support Arsenal, I think It was the first time I caught a game from the premiership and they were playing, I simply said that's my team.

Been supporting Arsenal for about 4-5yrs now.

I can't stand the MLS here in the states, just isn't as exciting as european play. Also I call soccer Football and football here I call American Football. Make more sense just to call it football, I have know idea why we call it soccer. I mean "FOOT"-BALL, where did they come up with soccer?

LOL! Ya'll are funny. I like to watch soccer/football. I don't like it a much as American football, as you say. But then, it wasn't the dominant sport here in the states when I grew up.

I have no idea where the name "soccer" came from. It is odd.

In my early years I shouted for 'CHELSEA' (The shed boys)
My daughter turned me into a 'SPURS' fan, but really, underneath it all I am sorry to say that as I was born in 'Brentford' I have to admit that this is the team that I watch second after SPURS.

Hey Scott, as for 'Beckam' how can we knock him, just being on the field inspires the UK squad and we have had so many lessor captains.

Also, I am not knocking 'Pompey' they are a great side but I have to annoy my mates many of who (to my annoyance) sing that chant.

Mind you, what have I got to sing about with Brentford, I am told that they are getting a new all-seater ground:- They have ordered a new three seater settee and two chairs.

Now, if you want to speak about a real sport, let's speak RUGBY!!!
