I need some help ore prayers from you guy's

my dad is very ill and i worry sick about him.

Please pray with me that he don't have canser again and that it's jut the nerve pain in his back...I don't want to losse my second dad also

Debby do not worry about this thread not being positive. I believe that it is a positive thread. You had the comfort and outgoing personality to ask for help from your friends. So, you can handle your fears together with friends and not alone. You will find there are many people here who are going or had gone through the same experiences as you and your dad right now. And you will find many that will be there for you. I admire your strength in asking for help.

My father 7 years ago was diagnosed with Adeniod Cystic Carcynoma. That is a form of cancer that affects your adeniods. They gave him a year to live when diagnosed. He under went some severe proton therapy whcih ultimately worked out in the long run. He has been cancer free for the last 4 and a half years.

After cancer it has been hard for him. A staff infection that they could not get rid of (they said he would die again gave him 6 months). But, he overcame that and lived. Then, he had a triple bypass surgery and overcame that and lived. He, also, has had ulcerative colotis since he was 23 years old. And is doing great until a couple months ago.

The doctor's saw a mass behind his eye again. they thought it was cancer. Then, they did not think it was cancer. Then, they did think it was. What a time! But, ultimately, they are treating him for an infection (like staff) again to see if it is that. I think more of the reason why they are treating him as such is because he is not able to have any chemotherapy or treatment for cancer. The first time took a toll on his body and he was informed then...that if he has cancer again one day that he just was not able to have treatment.

Well, he is still kicking and going strong. Going to work everyday. Trying to hold up the family with his natural dad way With support and love. And he enver asks for anything for himself. And we do not talk it about what he is goign through. I guess because it scares him. Adn to tell you the truth it scares us.

But, the point I have had to say is that you and your dad are not alone. There are other people. And they will help you and support you in anyway you need and want. And know that because of your strength for both of you. Mine and my family will be there for you too in whatever you need and ask for. So, count us in!

it nice to feel i have made some really good friend over here!
it gives me the strength to try to stay positive certain you're story dawn!
I've lost my own father just two day's afther is 50sth bithday and i'm so scared to lose this dad also.but i try to stay positive all is it very hard sometimes.

My dad has canser again

They went to the hospital today for photo's and there was a how do you say that in english (place) again on his long's...next week they are going to takeaway a little piece of his long's to look at it and how bad it is..we hope there is something to do about again.

Oh, Debby I am so sorry to hear that the cancer has moved to his lung's. We wish your father all the best and a speedy recovery. Please, keep us updated on the progress.

I'm so sorry to hear the news. But keep your hopes up.
A lot will depend on what the biopsy of the nodule or lung
mass shows.

There are very effective ways of treating it....well I'm
getting into things that I'm sure his personal physician
will certainly discuss with him.
