| Hey guys....
Not many of you know this as I didn't post in the general part of the forum redarding this, but my brother just got killed in a tragic work related accident less than a week ago. His neck was broken and he was crushed when a forklift flipped....I just got back in town early this AM following his burial in Indiana where our parents are buried.
My brother had fallen out of touch with my sister and I over the years, his now ex-wife ( they got divorced in March ) had alot to do with that. Anyways, just a couple of weeks ago I did recieve a phone call from him and we had planned on keeping in touch, he's also got 2 sons that I hadn't seen or heard from in ages also. At least I did het a chance to talk to him before he got killed..... but will am sooo upset that we didn't get to see each other again.
If there is anyone that you know that has a friend or family member that you haven't been in touch with, don't wait another minute ! Life is short and you never know when a tragedy like this can happen ! Don't put them through this terrible pain that we feel right now......

I am truly sorry for your loss. As a grief counselor , i often hear people say the exact words you have said.
You are already taking your personal tragedy and sending a positive message to others.
Often times people that are grieving to do not think about others, especially people they do not know personally.
You may never know how many people you have helped by sending this message.
Your message has just traveled the world, Just think of that.
I am so sorry you and your family have lost your loved one.
It is so true that our character grows during the tough times in our lives.
It is just hard to see when in the midst of the pain.
