| Hi guys,
As we all know. In the US we are in the process of voting for our next President. And there is a lot of concern about it (as there always is). It is even more important now. Because we all want a change here. So many different wishes it is very hard to come up with.
But, like in any election, the same stuff is going on. People are sending emails back and forth. Slandering any nominated person running for office. Either it is the opposing candidate's team starting the e-rumors. Or simply a citizen of the States that just does not like the candidate running for office.
Guys, we all are getting emails like this...

We checked this out on "snopes.com". It is factual. Check for yourself.
Who is Barack Obama?
Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born
in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM

Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two
years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His

When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocate to Indonesia. Obama
attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a
Catholic school.
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is
quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also
attended Catholic school."
Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that he is not a radical.
Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this
influence was temporary at bes t. In reality, the senior Obama returned
to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct
influence over his son's education.
Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham,
introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school
in Jakarta.
Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim
terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since
it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major
public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined
the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim
background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he
DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor
will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands
over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.
Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential
candidacy.
T he Mu slims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside
out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the
President of the United States, one of their own!!!!

Funny thing about this letter is it shows in affect how stupid they think the populace is!

Go ahead and click on the link. I dare you.  because the link tells you that some of the things in this email is false. Check it out.
Which leads me to believe that these people that are forwarding the email are just reading the email. The people that started this email are counting on the fact that you will not check out the facts for yourself by clicking on the link.
But, guess what! Whomever started this email cannot be accused of slander because, in fact, they did give you the real thruth by giving you access to the link. They are hoping you will just take their word that they did check into it and forward it on. LOL!
Now, I will state that I am not a supporter of any polictical canidate. I do not know enough about each nominee to even support any of them. But, what i do not like is people trying to pursuade people to do something that will affect their whole future by giving falsehoods under the guise of factual content.
And what makes it worse is they are literally preying upon people whom will willing trust and niavely forward their email without actually checking the facts they say is so true. Especially after the give you link in the same email that states this whole thing is false!!!! 
Guys, some of this email may be true. But, you will find that some of it is not. So, how much of it is true? That is something that you have to find out for yourself. And do not read any emails like this thinking that it is the sworn truth. Don't forward these kind of emails on without getting the actual facts for yourself, please.
It is just a shame and a waste of time to do something like this.

| I guess im one of those people that wouldn't check! But the good thing is I probably wouldnt of open it. I get to many chain letters! I hate chain letters!!! Thanks thought it was a great post and i can't even argue politics with your right!!!

| I am not religious, but I respect all religions and I love to learn about what makes people diverse and what makes the world what it is.
To be blunt, Im not into politics, I think a majority are out there to screw someone else over. Look who we have in office now and look what he has done to our economy and our troops.
Yes, it is time for a change, I hope EVERYDAY it is for the best that comes out in the next election. Whoever wins, cannot be any worse than now.
I took world religion last semester and this semester I am taking Philosophy in Religion and I have learned so much. I also have to say the professor that I have for those classes is one of the best teachers I have ever had.
He pointed out Obamas background. Most of the family background is true. But to judge someone by there background, like the world does, especially in office, I think is wrong. Politics love to slice each others throats for a chance of someone voting for them. I will say though I am not a Bush fan!
I 100% support our troops, but I feel they need to get out of war. It is tearing lives apart. I was in the service, never been to war, but have friends that have and lost their lives.
It is true what you said in your post. You cannot always believe what others say or do, especially when it comes to emails.
It is always important to view the facts before you jump to conclusions. |

| There are so many people that do not take the time to check the facts on any of these types of mails, and unfortunately they also have the right to vote ! People that do vote, and I am one, should take the time to educate themselves about the candidates and not just believe everything they see or read !! I'm not one to debate or discuss my political beliefs, it's a personal matter to me... Change may be needed but I'd really like to hear more than just the rhetoric and SSDD of politics ! The voter's deserve specifics, not one-liners and I really hate campaign season for all the attack ads and half-truths spewed out by the candidates and media here...
Just my two cents worth !

| I here you Di. It is bad in my town and area, we have to vote in churches as well, which is a subject I am not going to touch. I get tired of the bashing and commercials, they do not do anything for me but have me look down on them for doing just that.
I honestly could never do a job like that, I would put myself in an early grave from the stress alone.. |
