| For all those who celebrate St Patrick's Day have a great day and enjoy the celebrations. As today most people are Irish.
I like the meal of corned beef and cabbage more then my Irish friend who tells me this is more an American tradition then an Irish one today.
The short story behind it in Ireland was that the peasants used to cook the meat in the cabbage and potatoes to hide the smell of the meat. The cabbage smell over powers the meat so the land owners did not know they had meat. _________________ Theresa

| Well I am not Irish myself but I always enjoy myself today, as most people like to celebrate the day.
For me it also means I can get cabbage real cheap and make sauerkraut. Love shredding that cabbage as I made a mess, now a few weeks to brine and then to can it and I am set for the year. _________________ Theresa
