PostSubject: How you helped!   Sun Apr 13, 2008 4:53 pm

I'm back! I dont know if you noticed I wasn't on as much this week! While this is was aweek that i realized i can do anything I put my mind to! As most of you know I am in my 40s and been out of school for many years! I decided a few weeks ago because of this forum and the people I have made close friends with that I needed to find a career where I can make a difference and help others! Yes that is how You guys helped me decide!

I choice to obtain my license for Life, health, and variable annunities, With out any knowledge and with out being taught by an school in many years, I applied for the 40 hour course. The first day was me doubting myself! Hearing foreign terms and watching others breeze through. Well i could of given up and threw in the towel! and I was tempted, but instead I went home and started learning new concepts. the next day in i was begining to relate to what the instructor was teaching!. Not to bore you with to many details, Friday came along and 40 hours later the test was in front of me I felt young again! butterflies in my stomach and and the instructor words of "Open you books, pick up your pencils and begin!. The test was two hours in time. In one hour i put down my pencil and work to the front of the class and handed in the test sheet. Yes i was ready to find out my grade. With in a minute I was told congratulations, Rich Scott you have earned a 97% on this exam!.

Yes, this is a lesson for all of us! If we put our mind to it we can accomplish anything! I am more confident that we can succeed here then ever before! I thank each and everyone one of you for helping me find the begining of a new career! Lets help each other succeed without worrying if we will become rich! This is our goal and with this we will all be better people and success will follow!

Hey Scott:

Congratulaltions: Guess what ?

That is exactly what my husband does for a living.

He has been in management for over ten years.

So if you want to move to Ohio, theres a job for ya.

However, with that licensure, I can tell you with confidence that you are living in the right state.

It is a great feeling to set a goal and obtain that goal.

Congrats to you and best of luck.

Need any advice just let me know and you and my husband can talk.

Hi;;Scott, congrat's.
Learning should be a never ending experience, for us all..

Learning is like a gift,,IF, you don't take it/use it,
it just sits there waiting for you,,as with anything,
if it's not plugged into the system,,IT WON'T WORK.
