As I said before, I got two wild animals..LOL

I got tired of my curtains, couch, chairs, beds, and such being tore up..so I got two squirt guns at the dollar store, 2 bucks worth it!!

It works!!

All I have to do now is pick it up and start pumping it up and they run, no more tearing up!! Such a relief!! At first, my floors got soaked, but it was well worth it!!

And my plants are not being chewed on, the grass for animals does work!!

At times nature can be cruel, but there is also a raw beauty, and even a certain justice manifested within that cruelty.

The alligator, one of the oldest and ultimate predators, normally considered the 'apex predator', can still fall victim to implemented 'team work' strategy, made possible due to the tight knit social structure and 'survival of the pack mentality' bred into the canines.

See the remarkable photograph below courtesy of Nature Magazine.

This story goes back to March 28 last year. I know the exact date because it happened the day after me birthday. After 15 years of having a pond wildlife got me. I am on pond forums and hear all the horror stories about Herons and Raccoons and other wild life that invade ponds. Now sometimes wild life is not bad as you see little Sparrows sitting on top of spitters taking a drink and green frogs come for a visit and sit on top of the lily pads.

But when animals disrupt your pond knocking ...

Valentimes Puppy

A friend just sent this to me and I wanted to share it.

A PUPPY has been born in Japan with a large,

clear, love-heart-shaped pattern in his coat.

The Chihuahua was born in May as one of a litter to a breeder.

Shop owner Emiko Sakurada said it was the first time a

puppy with the marks had been born out of a thousand she had bred.

She had no plans to sell the puppy, which has been named 'Heart-kun'.

Hi everyone!

Here is a pic of my chocolate chihauaha Lilly and male neutured tomcat CeCe. CeCe makes sure in the morning that he is laying next to or on top of Lily's night time cage.

I caught him yesterday morning, right when I woke up, sitting in one of my plant baskets chewing on another plant, with dirt all over my living room!

My dog in turn grabbed ahold of my cat's fur and started shaking it like her rope toy!

As you can see from the picture, they love each other and are very close, ...

Putting them down

It is real hard to put an animal down, we had to today for my 19yr old cat, Hilde. All of her organs were failing, just overnight. It is the humane thing to do, no matter how hard it is. She pulled through for so long and was determined, we wondered how long she would make it. We could not see her suffer anymore. Im glad we go to good vets, after all your animals become part of your family and life. I also am glad to been able to have that many years to be blessed with a one of a kind animal.

I am a big animal lover, the only thing I do not like (besides vet bills) is having to finally put them down to sleep. They are your kids, your lil babies, and you spoil them until they become flat out rotten and obnoxious. As I listed before in the pet section, I have animals, a chocolate chihuaha, Lily thats a pup and a male cat, CeCe that is young.

I have had my favorite animals I had throughout my childhood, but the most cherished is my 19yr old cat Hilde, whom is at my parents home. ...

Hey Hey Hey! Animal lovers come one come all! I love it! Thanks Scott. I have two little ones that jsut love to take corners in the house and come out fighting.

In one corner... Bailey the Great. A golden retreiver. Weighing in at 61.5 pounds. 13 years old (91 human years) and just as playful as the day she was born.
I think it is cool you have a pet section. I went through all the sections and read every one. I am a big animal lover myself and have a 19year old cat Hilde. She got hit by a car when she was 4yrs old. I was a kid then and I happened to be looking out my bedroom window at the time and saw a cat in the road. I didnt know it was mine, so I went out there. Got smacked right in the head by a jeep wrangler. She dragged herself by one paw and we fed her by a syringe for 3months. She was so ...

A couple of years ago, right after we bought our Artic Cat ATV, I was riding trails on our property. This was before the drought had become so severe here in Tennessee and we had gigantic mud puddles that I enjoyed plowing through. The biggest one was a swampy area about 100 yards long, and 20 feet across...rather deep to if you didn't stay towards the sides !! Anyways, this was about my third trip through it for the day and I guess I was feeling a little over-confident and ventured too close ...
