I didn't get a chance to make a post this AM to inform you that the dr's once again changed their minds, but at 11AM we got the call from Casey that they were taking Kiara into surgery in just a few hours so we rushed on down to the hospital....



The surgery could not have went any easier or better on Kiara !! They got out over 99% of the tumor, she did not require any blood transfusions and there will be no chemo required. She did not even have to go ICU after the surgery,  ...</description>

			<description>We have a possibly serious medical condition with our precious little Kiara, who just recently turned 1 month old. We thought that she had a possible heart murmur and was taken to the doctors for an EKG yesterday. The results were negative about a murmur, but they have detected an unknown mass or tumor in her little lungs and will most likely be requiring surgery ! She has further testing and all scheduled for Thursday and we hope to know more then....

Following more testing that was done this weekend they are saying now that they don't believe that the tumor is attached to the spinal cord, and may not even be in the lung itself ! It will still be requiring surgery, but it is now looking like it will not be involving the major vital organs, or spinal cord !   



She's eating and resting better, and seems to be getting stronger for the surgery that is going to be in a few days.
